16-Nov 1 - Explorations in Movement Classes at Springstep

Ages 5-8 Tuesdays 3:30-4:30pm register
This class will lead children through various games, dances, and activities
to encourage their creativity, build their trust in themselves and others,
and make them comfortable with music and movement. They will experience
the feeling of working together towards a common goal, and will learn
to observe rhythm and musical cues. The class will use many different
styles of music and will be fun, creative, educational, and empowering!
Ages 9 and up Tuesdays 4:30-5:30 register
In this class, students will explore movement through a variety of games
and activities to build trust, cooperation, observational skills, and
the courage to express their creativity. Activities in this class will
be both fun and empowering! The class will feature a variety of world
music and will be tailored to suit both the individuals, and the group
dynamic.

T he Dance Complex
pre-register for all 8 classes for $80,
$12 per class drop-in
This class will incorporate elements of Modern Dance, Bharata Natyam,
Kuchipudi and Odissi (South Indian classical dance), yoga, Capoeira and
African Dance. We will work with new choreography each week as well as
developing phrases over several weeks. Dancers of all backgrounds are
welcome, however students need previous dance experience.
